What better way to learn about Hunter Brook Linear Park than following a Quest? The Westchester Land Trust will have Quest booklets and prizes for visitors completing the quest. Practice your geocaching skills. On May 5, if you are the first one to find the new one, you will win a prize. This little known park in Yorktown is tucked away in a neighboorhood on Beekman Court off Hunterbrook Road.

Directions: Head west from Route 202 and turn left on Pine Grove Court which is 0.1 mile past the traffic light into the BJ's shopping center. Immediately turn right onto Old Crompond Road. Go 0.3 miles and turn left onto Hunterbrook Road. It is 1.5 miles to a right turn onto Beekman court. Parking is to the left at 0.1 mile in a pullout beside a small sigh: Trail Head Parking Area. The trail head is 200 feet back along the road at a sign between two driveways.
